About Us

Senbeb Natural Foods has served the local community in Washington, DC for over 20 years, selling mostly organic groceries and nutritional supplements. We started as a buying cooperative in one of our founder's basement.

As operations increased, we rented space in a local YWCA, and from there we moved to a retail location on Georgia Avenue NW. From Georgia Avenue we purchased a building on 3rd street NW, which is our current location, along with Senbeb Cafe.

In addition to healthy products, we have classes on Meditation, Chi Gong (Qi Gong), I Ching, The 11 Laws, and the Ausarian and Ra Initiation series.
